Soooo....

What's Beltane like for you, what does your line of Faery teach about Beltane, if you can share that.

What are the essential elements to any Beltane ritual or celebration from a Feri perspective?

Ever the eager beaver,

Happy Beltane, Oberyn and everyone! (ok, so i'm a little late...)

Celebrating Beltane, for me, ranges from wild, ecstatic dancing to Miss Kittin at Mezzanine (last year, Beltane eve, after which we somehow made it to the Reclaiming ritual later that day, albeit fuzzy-headed), to organizing a crazy Reclaim the Streets party with a "Fuck Work, Let's Dance!" May Day theme with 1000 people with a maypole in the middle of 4th and Mission Streets (2001), to running amok at a London May Day action (2000), to our friends' wedding in the forest and later trancework and ritual outdoors in a Feri class (2004), to Morris dancers in Tilden Park at dawn and an appearance at the immigrants' rights demo with a bottle of mead (this year).

So, uh, yeah - i don't really have a particularly feri way of celebrating the holiday. My preference is the wild, ecstatic dancing, but that doesn't always happen.

so this didn't exactly answer your question, but it gave me a nice trip down mayday memory lane!
