Sat, January 19, 2008 - 11:33 AMChas and I will be there for the entire time. I am going to be offering a class on the Feri Guardians on Monday, although I can't recall what time. There is also a panel on Feri ethics that I will be a part of (not sure what day/time), and also the Feri ritual on Sunday night.

As I see it (today)... think of it as a "preview" of what I may or may not talk about on the panel:
*People* have ethics... Feri as a tradition is quite comfortable incorporating the personal ethics of each individual practitioner. When coupled with out-of-check egos this oftentimes leads us to the sometimes unavoidable conclusion that Feri don't play well with others. But this is not a failing of the tradition, but a failing of personal proportions. I came into Feri with my personal ethical standards already in place and I wouldn't train someone who demonstrated otherwise.
In other words, one shouldn't need Feri (or any other religion) to teach them not to be an asshole. ;)
